Nourishment is so much more than what is on our plate. In my personal coaching sessions I guide you on the journey to not only get healthy and feel great every day, but also help you become mindful of what you need in order to change your habits so you can get unstuck, stop the dieting mentality and start feeling nourished and thrive. Even if change is what you crave the most, it might also be what you find the most challenging to embark on. Take charge of your health and wellbeing so you can perform, thrive and live the life you want to live. This is not just work/life balance. This is about being nourished while at work, at play, at home and on the go. This is a nourished life.

Over the past decade, I’ve found that no food plan works alone. Built on the profound understanding of how people make changes, transform, and become truly healthy, the 9-step Self Nourishment Program incorporates the 3 key elements essential for change and transformation: Food Knowledge, Mindfulness and Habit-Shifting.
My mission is to help you take charge of your health by learning how food can be a healing relationship to get healthy and lose weight in a sustainable way. We already have the wisdom to take better care of ourselves within, we just don’t know how to listen to our own bodies, because we have lost the connection.
Rather than focusing on yet another diet, I focus on nourishment because shifts happen by changing our relationship with food and with ourselves.
You may find yourself wondering if different food choices could help you prevent illness, help with an illness that is diagnosed or something you suspect may be going on. Yes, food can help you heal imbalances in your body that have manifested as symptoms, which we commonly call illness and disease. By going to the root of the problem, your body can heal. This work is what I call being a “health detective”. I use an integrative and functional medicine approach to uncover the root cause of an illness so your body can start its own healing process.
Food and lifestyle-related illnesses include diabetes, high cholesterol and blood-pressure, heart disease and arteriosclerosis, arthritis, immune-disorders, and cancer. Other very prevalent health issues are respiratory problems, allergies, food intolerances, celiac disease, digestive disorders, and GI issues such as colitis, Crohn's, IBS and GERD, as well as weight-problems, obesity, stress-related issues, sleep disorders, and infertility.
Basically, food is our most powerful resource and tool for well-being. We tend to think that much of our destiny is bound up in our genes, but scientists are now understanding that the way we eat changes the most fundamental aspect of us: how our DNA is expressed. This is incredibly empowering because it means that none of us have to simply accept the predicted consequences of our genetic makeup as inevitable — we do have the power of our health in our hands!
You will be guided in dealing with your nutritional concerns in a real world way so you can truly understand how food makes you feel both physically and emotionally, as well as how your food choices can help you prevent and reverse disease.
