TIME MANAGEMENT IS MIND MANAGEMENT
We need to rethink is time management, because change tends to feel like doing more and running faster. Instead, it's about pausing to harness our attention and ask questions that get us unstuck.
RETHINK PRODUCTIVITY
Productivity is not a hack; it’s not about doing more with less time. Think of productivity as a support system that creates the basis for a fast response.
PRODUCTIVITY IS ABOUT PAUSE
The rethink about productivity is that we think it's about faster action, when really it’s about reflection before engagement and mindful choice before action.
THANK YOU 2023, HELLO 2024!
Learning is the foundation for growth. The more we learn about ourselves by pausing, listening with curiosity and asking more questions, the more we grow from challenges.
LET’S PAUSE TOGETHER
What do you remember loving the most about the Holiday season when you were a kid? For me, it’s the lights.
ARE YOU PROSOCIAL?
We are social beings and inspire self-worth in each other simply by caring. It’s the reality of how interconnected we are and why self-care is not really about self, but rather about care because it’s how we connect, communicate, and collaborate better together.
GET COMFORTABLE WITH DISCOMFORT
With self-awareness, we can learn to face these stressors so that we can instead choose the kind of response we want to cultivate.
DO YOU SEE THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM?
Staying silent can create an inner conflict, but speaking up can cause outer conflict.
GRATITUDE WORKS BETTER
The power of care can start with a simple thank you; it goes a long way.
DOES TIME AGE?
It’s the human connection that makes a city and it’s what makes a workplace where we respect and care for what has come before us, what is here now, and what’s possible for a greener future.
WHAT DO YOU NOTICE?
What do you notice and pay attention to? Do you celebrate the small steps? Do you pause to acknowledge yourself or someone else for caring? Or do you think of success as the end result?
DO WE NEED MORE EMOTIONAL RESILIENCE?
Vulnerability doesn't mean we are falling apart; it means we honest with ourselves and others about how we feel. And then communicate that with respect and care for both yourself and others.
WHAT DO YOU DO?
This way of identifying us as people is most disliked, especially when we are either unhappy with our jobs, in between them, transitioning jobs, or simply tired of being identified by what we do.
YOUR MIND AT WORK
Maybe we don’t need to empty our mind but rather learn to listen better so that we can choose how we use our attention.
IS HUMILITY A SUPERPOWER?
We all have a need to feel seen, heard, and rewarded; however, having all the answers makes us feel more isolated. Working in this way, it’s not working, is it?
YOUR MIND IS PURE POTENTIAL
The purpose of curiosity is to practice openness. To let opportunity and possibility show itself by learning to pause and listen for just a little longer.
SELF-CARE IS NOT A SIDE-HUSTLE
Looking at the statistics of what causes burnout, it’s clear it isn’t only rooted in working too much but rather the loss of agency we experience by worrying too much and feeling that we do not belong or matter, which is why the Self-Care Mindset® is so important in cultivating work-life quality.
THE SELF-CARE PARADOX
I used to think being stressed at work is how work is. I even wore it as a badge of honor. I believed I had to choose between being successful and having a personal life, not to mention putting my health on hold to reach my goals. Many of us have this very relationship with work and self, and if you are like most people, you have accepted that work hurts.
IS STRESS (JUST) A MINDSET?
Stress is neither a badge of honor nor a defect. You are not more important because you are stressed or less capable. You are stressed because you care.
